Night Fright Moves to La Grande!
Article posted on Monday, June, 7th, 2010 at 12:12 pm
Night Fright, the largest Haunted House Attraction in the valley, drew almost 3000 visitors to Union last year. For 2010, the haunted attraction is moving to the Maridell Center (formally known as the Elk’s Lodge) in La Grande, and creating three haunted attractions – one per floor – spanning 28,000 square feet. The main banquet hall will be an open party area, family friendly, with food, games and events to entertain you as you wait for your turn to enter your grave… uh, ahem… haunted attraction. In turn, this should eliminate those lengthy wait lines of years’ past. Exact dates are yet to be determined, but expect Friday and Saturday of the last four weeks of October for you to meet your bitter end. Bring your date or your family members and friends and hold to them tightly, for you never know what surprises will be in store for you, or what horrors lurk around each corner. With all this new space, our ghoulish imaginations have gone wild, and we have some clever scares in store for you on a scale you might not expect from a small-town event. Will you be brave enough to walk the corridors?

Stay tuned, more information about this year’s haunted attraction will be revealed as it becomes available. After 5 years of haunting fun, this year’s haunt will be by far the largest, and there may never be another that tops it in size and scale in this area ever again. It’ll be the big kick-off that will help fund the remodeling of the Maridell Center, which will eventually bring ice skating, laser tag, mini-golf, and a dance and events hall to La Grande. Mark your calendars – the Maridell Center will be the place to be this October! You won’t want to miss it!
we are 14 and 11 and we have gone to the Haunted House in Union every year that we’ve been allowed to. so every year as soon as we hear about it we start raising our money and trying to find a ride. we are so excited to come this year because now it is closer to our hometown. so we are waiting and waiting now to find out the prices and dates. are any of the frights demonic or have to do with Satan or demons? because if so we can’t go…
Hi! I’m glad to hear you guys have so much fun! Ticket prices are listed on the website now, here: http://www.nightfrightproductions.com/events-2/
And you can buy tickets online here: Tickets
The haunt is all a show. It’s made up of costumes, makeup, and props, and meant to be for fun. However, make sure you guys get your parents’ approval before going as it is going to be very scary this year, but you’ll be okay if you’ve been to our haunt last year in Union. But just so you know, there will be a few “less scary” openings every Saturday that we’re open from 6:00 – 7:00 (before the main show starts), in which things are a little more toned down and no actors will jump out at you, etc.
Hope to see you there!
I visited this Haunt for my first time since it moved to La Grande and I was scared. I thought it was great and had a wonderful time with my family and friends. I came back to Portland area and went to Scream at the Beach and was very disappointed with it. La Grande’s Fright Night beat Scream at the Beach hands down by 200%!!!! I will continue to come back and have the fight scared out of me every year from hear on out. Thank you for a wonderful time and a frightful evening.
i love it soooo much!
